Firm History
Chad Gauntt began his legal career in the insurance defense section of one of the largest law firms in the United States, Fulbright and Jaworski, LLP. After a few years, Chad wanted to provide "big firm" quality, sophistication and expertise in a small firm environment free from the conflicts, rate pressures and overhead burdens inherent in all large law firms. Consequently, in 1998, Chad co-founded Gauntt & Kruppstadt, LLP, which later became Gauntt, Earl & Binney, LLP ("GEB"). GEB began as an insurance litigation boutique and has since grown into a full service firm representing clients nationwide. GEB is ideally located just north of Houston, Texas in The Woodlands.
