We counsel and represent large and small companies, entrepreneurs, and individuals in all legal aspects of business and commercial matters, including consumer law, contracts, collections, construction, Deceptive Trade Practices Act (DTPA), employment law, insurance, international law, liability, purchases and sales of businesses, real estate and leasing issues, securities fraud, trademarks, and valuation. We also assist entrepreneurs and small business in selecting and forming the most suitable type of entity to best serve their business needs. Depending on client needs, we have the ability and versatility to perform business start-up services on an expedited basis when necessary.

Construction Disputes

We provide timely assistance and counsel to builders, buyers, owners, contractors, subcontractors, and vendors/suppliers in prosecuting, defending, and negotiating claims, disputes, and lawsuits for payment, delay, change orders, and related issues with an eye towards keeping projects on track, minimizing business disruptions, and prompt and cost effective resolution.

Consumer Law

We provide counsel and representation to consumers who have become victims of fraud and deceptive trade practices, and we defend sellers who have been wrongfully accused of fraud and deceptive trade practices. We also counsel and represent victims of identity theft and inaccurate credit reports. We assist the consumer in notifying the appropriate credit reporting agencies of the inaccuracies and, where necessary, file suit to enforce the consumer's rights.

Employment Law

We advise and represent both businesses and individuals regarding employment contracts, non-compete and confidentiality/non-disclosure agreements, employment discrimination, termination, statutory wage issues and disputes, non-subscriber injuries, and general employment matters.

Estate Planning, Wills, Trusts, and Probate

We seek to gain maximum benefit of the laws of wills, taxes, insurance, property, and trusts for our clients and their beneficiaries in planning for the disposition of property and estate according to our clients' wishes. We also provide timely and responsive counsel and representation to beneficiaries, administrators, and executors of estates.

Insurance law

We provide counsel and representation in all aspects of insurance law, including first and third party insurance defense litigation, subrogation, fraud investigation, and coverage issues. We have extensive experience representing and counseling insurance companies and individual insureds regarding arson, auto, aviation, commercial, foundation, homeowners, medical malpractice, mold, nursing home negligence, personal injury, pharmaceuticals, premises liability, products liability, professional liability, and property insurance matters.
